Social Media "Twitter" saves Korean man from suicide

Seoul (The Korea Herald/ANN) - A Korean man getting to commit suicide set to not die because of Twitter.

On April sixteen, a person wrote that he was leaving a can on Twitter as a result of he did not have paper. The message was directed to his oldsters and friends, furthermore as his brother serving within the military.

Twitter users, shocked by the message, started retweeting the message at the side of a note saying that the person ought to be stopped from committing suicide.

Their words were place into action. A user with an ID: @peacepeace**** said, "I known as the cyber police and can contact the military." Another user, ID: @AndroidG***, said "I contacted the person's brother's military unit, however they told me it absolutely was tough looking out as a result of it absolutely was too dark."

After midnight, varied tweets were posted saying that the one that tried suicide was safe.

@KoW*****, who uploaded his can and created a mass stir on-line, wrote a many thanks tweet later that night. There was an identical incident last February when a twenty eight year-old uploaded a can on Twitter and Cyworld, his personal blog, saying that he was trying suicide. However, with Twitter users' words of encouragement and police taking fast action, a tragedy was prevented.
